Alexis Barroso is an English to French translator, editor, and author specialized in video game localization. He also works on audiovisual subtitling and dubbing, as well as poetry.
Alexis was born in 2001 from French and Spanish parents and grew up in the suburbs of Lyon, France, where he is still based after having lived for some time in the Netherlands. He has studied English Literature & Linguistics at Université Lumière Lyon II before becoming a self-employed linguist in 2020, working for numerous international developers, publishers and agencies on titles of all sizes and genres.
